I was the 9th engineering hire (pre-revenue, after seed-stage funding) and was a tech lead on projects that drive 90+% of revenue today. My contributions came primarily as an IC but I was also a manager for 1.5 years.
Highlights
Built and maintained platform integrations for Facebook, Zendesk, Kustomer, Freshdesk, and Front. Maintained all other integrations (including Kustomer, Gorgias, Trustpilot). Collectively, these integrations have ingested and sent out >150 million customer service messages and powered $X M in revenue.
Implemented latency and performance improvements for high-throughput data ingestion pipelines. Projects included a new Message Bus architecture for webhook pings and API optimization for Zendesk, which collectively increased webhook success rate to 99%, reduced system load by 50% during peak periods, and reduced webhook volume by 30%.
Served as TLM for various frontend features (websockets, internal user tools) in the Teams platform.
